This sculpture was a bespoke commission and an extra special Christmas present for its lucky owner. William met this gorgeous Labrador in person, then used images/videos and real life measurements in order to create as near a replica of the real dog as possible.

Formed using recycled horseshoes that are initially heated up and individually straightened out. The sculpture then starts to take shape around an initial frame outline. Details and form are then created using different welding and grinding techniques.

Working with the client William is currently making some further tweaks to this sculpture to ensure its likeness to the real dog is on point. After all, owners know their dogs unique features better than anyone else!

Keep an eye out for the final images. Fancy your own unique pet sculpture? Contact William to discuss your requirements.
